About the film: year - 2006 / 1 hour 30 min melodrama / The plot of the film "Travesties": Sergei is a young and talented graduate of St. St. Petersburg Theater Academy. In a state of passion, to the surprise of all his friends and acquaintances, he signs a contract with the provincial youth theater, but soon realizes that he overdid it: in his native St. Petersburg, he is promised a great career on one of the most famous and largest stages in the country. However, the contract has already been signed and the chief director of the local theater, Krotov, refuses to let him go. The only solution to the problem seems to Sergei to be a romance with the actress Irina Barysheva, on which the entire repertoire rests. The despotic director cannot let the prima go, and he himself is ready to let Sergei go where his eyes will look, but unexpectedly for everyone, the insidious plan of seduction develops into a deep feeling.
